1. General

• This online booking service is operated by the Kandy Municipal Council (KMC).
• By proceeding with a booking you agree to abide by all terms stated herein.
• The system is intended solely for booking crematorium time slots, cemetery burial plots, and infant burial services under KMC jurisdiction.

2. Applicant Responsibility

• The applicant must provide accurate and truthful information regarding the deceased and the next-of-kin.
• Any false or misleading information may result in cancellation of the booking without refund.
• The applicant is responsible for ensuring all required documentation (death certificate, NIC copies, etc.) is available at the time of the service.

3. Booking & Slot Availability

• Bookings are subject to slot availability and final confirmation by KMC staff.
• A booking reference number will be issued upon successful submission.
• For bookings exceeding the daily threshold, additional approval from the Chief Municipal Officer (CMO) and relevant authorities may be required before the booking is confirmed.
• KMC reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a slot in exceptional circumstances, including but not limited to operational emergencies or public holidays.

4. Payments & Fees

• Service charges are as listed on the KMC fee schedule and are subject to change without prior notice.
• Payment is required to finalise the booking. Unpaid bookings may be released after the payment window expires.
• All fees are non-refundable once the service has been rendered.
• For online payments, the KMC is not responsible for delays caused by the payment gateway or the applicant's bank.

5. Privacy & Data

• Personal information collected during booking is used solely for the purpose of processing the service and official record-keeping.
• KMC will not share personal data with third parties except as required by law.
• By submitting your mobile number you consent to receive SMS notifications related to your booking.

6. Contact & Disputes

• For queries or complaints, contact the KMC Cemetery & Crematorium Division during office hours.
• All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
